Why are you running?I get asked this question a lot, and the answer is simple: I believe I can make a difference for the people of South Dakota. I have plenty of ideas and a fresh set of eyes to look at the current policies. The people deserve someone who cares, and I will work for the people, not out of state interest groups.
What experience do you have?Unlike my opponents, I do not have experience at the state level. While in school, I took part in different clubs that simulated legislative sessions, including going to Pierre during the legislative session to see how it works. My education is a top priority, as I believe knowledge is the best tool to prepare myself for the logistics of policy work.
What makes you different?I am different from my opponents because I understand firsthand how difficult it is to live in the current state of things. I am part of the lower working class, so I see how low wages directly impacts the people of South Dakota. I am you, and I want to make sure South Dakota is a place everyone can thrive in, not just the upper classes.
What is your platform?My main focuses for my campaign are affordability, education, and conservation of the Black Hills.
How can I support you?I can use help in all sorts of ways, but my main focus is getting my message out there to everyone who is registered to vote, as well as encouraging those who are not registered to becoming active voters. Regardless of party affiliation, I want to represent YOU. Your voice deserves to be heard, and I want to hear how you think we should make South Dakota better for our future generations.
